I had to think how to answer the question in terms of relativeness to what I have covered and what I just learned in this passing week. To do that I chose the difference in understanding research materials when choosing scholarly and popular sources when aligning topics to start with. With much of my time being spent studying it may seem easier at times to use a search engine other than the schools resources. That is a example of using non-referenced materials and Prior to my transfer I would many times use a search engine when looking to cover topics on finance usually ending up with a piece from investopedia.
examples of uncorrelated topics would be if I were to use (Ameri, F., Stecke, K. E., von, C. G., & Kiritsis, D. (Eds.). (2019).)
‘Advances in production management systems. towards smart production management systems”to cover possibly any type of biblical reference, that yes it is a scholarly source. it is not however the same subject, the time needed to do research on the correct topic will have to be spent again which may mean my work may not have been organized.
Although this can be recovered and is common it may cause a unnecessary constraint in the writing process. Someone who does not participate in the dissertation process may not realize the importance of covering topics or having the paper flow together with connecting points.
We only just began the course and I must admit many of my writings will be based on personal experience from work, eduacation, and life. According to “Pereira” this could be a sign of incompetence, which is something I disagree with. I think having read “Pereira” and another person who has not we may still have similar views if this was discussed, so how is there a difference? Research methods but also how to cover any corraborated materials that can stregthen your thesis and knowledgeable statements. Something I may know and the average person may not
Someone who does not participate in the dissertation process may not understand the idea of gathering materials and resources based on a idea.
I will be trying to find a topic that I enjoy and have some experience in. I believe that the process will allow for me to speak about a topic that I choose and give to a community of scholars who may one day look back at my work. They may at some point use my research topics and see that it was well written and researched. I believe unless they are in this position someone else may not get a chance to understand the importance.

My own thoughts says that yes I have covered many of the same matters in this quiz. All except possibly building a relationship with whoever my colleague may be. This is also a matter of knowledge of what it entails to prepare for a dissertation.
Conclusion
This I hope will be a delightful experience that expands myself and thoughts while strengthening my reasoning. People who do not participate in this process may not get this opportunity so I plan on using my time herein wisely.
