All Crimes Dissembled or whatever By David Vaughn

The hard part was not breaking into the building. Having been inside previously made the reentry simpler, avoiding the shocked guards who had only just moments ago been bum rushed. No, the problem was the reentry from a different vantage point and retracing my steps that would lead to the dropped bag. I had minutes before the place was swarming with cops. Minutes that quickly dwindled based on my indecisiveness. Think quick,

Sprinting through the darkened halls and trying to keep from alerting any unsuspecting “Extras” that I may have missed made the time a bit slower. Already I have decided that failure is not an option. So when I finally collided into whoever may have been brave enough to move from where I left them I did not pull much.

Ironically neither did he, expecting the encounter baton in hand he made a semi accurate swing at my face. “Whiff” he quickly stepped in for a grab, (what is that I am thinking a feint) his grab quick and desperate I quickly countered with a push and a one-two to the chest. before he could rebound with a swing at my body I had his arm. Not a break but a move to  dislodge his baton and twist him to the ground. While I was choking him into darkness I pulled him to a small room he may have been previously checking. Using Twist ties that I did not forget with my small bag of weapons and tools. “Pocket Check”….

Not winded but a few more moments of the time I needed to find my S**t. I decided to start on the roof and work my way down. My memory, while very accurate for the most part, may have slipped “hey” it happens. This just happens to be that precise moment where memory and movement just do not mix. Checking the roof “pause” negative….

Next level down I can see the panicked movement of the guards and yes they are not used to combat situations and I over hear them loudly talking about the mess I made of the room. Complaining about the who’s and whats and whys of why would someone want to attack a church property for.

Silently I listen from a darkened corner. No sign of the Alarms I am sure they have sounded and yeah just about as much as conversation was needed for the bag that I had left. I am quickly moving from room to place to room retracing my steps. Getting closer to the guards to get a look.

By now it has only been 10 minutes. I assume I had a Grand total of 15 or at most 20 to locate my bag. Still searching…

“Surprise, Surprise” they have found the bag and to my shock and dismay they are holding it  with one of the guards wearing it loosely from his shoulders while surrounded in the group.

“Fight or Flight”

I choose both. Already needing the distraction I had decided to make good on my promise to myself that this is a can not fail mission. I pull the fire alarm and With the guards in shock turning towards and with me Just pulling my mask down for effect. I sprint towards them at a breakneck speed . Very fast at around 200 lbs I run pass them and on my way by…. (Snatch )

Not my first heist of this nature and by the way I feel running it will not be my last.
