As she lay her hands down across the desk the cramps in her mind dissipated from the release of work. Not having to exhibit any type of idea on the topic was harder than actual study and lead to a long assignment. That assignment being create a comic character for a creative writing class. A class she felt she could do with out and wanted to drop. Why would she need this as a hopeful law student? Her questions soon turned to a hazy tiredness that she let take her into a short nap.
As she stirred from a longer than usual break her fingers ached, her clothes hugging her body and her tussled hair all said it was time for shower.
Starting the faucet and turning the knob to the shower and letting the room fill with steam, she slipped into the shower.
15min of cleaning and changing clothes brought her back to work. 10mins into finishing her assignment she could barely stiffle her laughter as she thought of turning in a paper based entirely on a character that was an anti hero. How Satirical it would be for her a hopeful law student who seconds in macabre comics. She still ignored the sting in her aching fingers which now is a upgrade from the earlier aches.
The nails are missing from her hands but have hardened due to time. How could she have missed this gruesome fact and even worse how could she not see the blood she has been writing in. The rank smell and the shoes that do not belong to her in eyesight. She tried to adjust herself as the light fades….
