This is a market that I feel is completely over rated in how much can be made. I will say that land values themselves to me will always be worth much more than the homes that tend to be built on them. Also that better planning may be necessary for the use of zones and houses or neighborhoods to be fully utilized. Which is at this point all I care to say, but if you have any interest in doing any of this stuff you can get a glimpse at what the expectations are for the housing market for 2023 The houses have to be built so it is almost redundant for me expect it to be a world filled with empty plots of land But still

This is a trend that I could see coming, with the constant rising inflation for everything. it is infeasible to imagine incomes to continue to rise alongside the rise of every thing else.

Not saying that we will not continue to see this balancing act but some where in there it may be a give some to in my opinion try and promote savings.

The problem that I wanted to address was the difference in online shopping and brick and mortar. Not that I feel that it is an overwhelming problem but I think that due to my current research and business sense in general this would be a good topic to discuss. In a previous post and as a part of our current assignment I discovered this journal entry “A comparative online sales forecasting analysis: Data mining techniques”. Referencing this material roughly states that on certain platforms the techniques used in forecasting may allow for implementation of Better pricing.

As an example I said prior that with proper scheduling and forecasting of consumers interest it could lead to better inventory management. To correlate the issue, e-commerce can be considered better suited to the needs of consumers by allowing a larger variety of items and possibly better prices. Of the two which would be more efficient? Brick and mortar or E-commerce, this is a very easy debate. But the article feels that through data mining e-platforms can become more efficient. Should traditional stores concede?

Data Mining or like I read in another article  (ECR) could be another technique to find shopper interest. My debate was not really on how to find shopper interest online because most shoppers tend to use sites and stores they want. But rather will traditional stores miss the opportunity to study the data from their shoppers leaving themselves at fault for missing a research trend? As shoppers look harder to find “Special” experiences or buys, what will allow the regular store owner to find that “Special” item or service?

The use of the schools online library may not have enough of the easy to digest typical information on hand. But what I feel from my own experience is that coupons do not particularly satisfy customers in such a way that it can be considered a technique. Including the receipt raffles that many companies use to get data because they are often over looked. So the question or problem may now be should traditional stores look to develop more focus groups to search for more data on shoppers.
