The journal describes the types of Synergies involved with acquisitions and delivers
descriptive detail in how the coexistence of companies effect one another and their
environments. Delivering key information that had been referenced and used within the study.
Which provides useful topical information making the article interesting to read and understand.
Delivers significant voice to a very useful study. Highlights could be simple from the
explanation of Synergy – “Defined as a combination of two firms’ assets that are more valuable
together than they separate, “ the term is a part of a deeper understanding in the study of
Acquisition dynamics. Another is the introduction of what they consider a life cycle of the
synergistic connection. Lastly, the highlight of understanding environmental factors or in the
journals term “Nonmarket” Synergies. Those are key studies that have composed this journal.
In my own thoughts, these journals can often become hard to define their use. With very
large graphs and formulas that can become distracting. I feel that yes the idea is to perform
scientific research and this journal looks to have performed a study. But should I look for exact
replicas of my own thoughts? I tend to at times deliver my concepts backing it with the data
needed to inform the reader. Yes, but my own ideas can at times become difficult to find the
right references. I wanted to see how the study was done and the researchers looked to use
comparative data for the types of synergies amongst other comparative data. Mentioning that
several factors of Synergy existed but Two were commonly named in Mergers and Acquisitions,
those were internal and operational.

I feel that reading this journal will lead to a deeper level of knowledge on my behalf. The
Authors released this field study on October 1 2022 so the data is current. The study is elaborate
and matches my current interest in Collaborations and Acquisitions. Easing the tension of
understanding and wanting to perform at a higher level.

(2022). Do Team Charters Help Team-Based Projects? The Effects of Team Charters on
Performance and Satisfaction in Global Virtual Teams. Academy of Management Learning &
Education, 21(2), 236–260

The journal discusses Team behaviors and first defines in short: A team Charter or
contract as a set of rules and guidelines for the group’s work and behaviors or roles. “It usually
specifies tasks and expectations, including information on team member availability,” etc. This
Journal researches the effects of groups both positive and negative. Using a coordinating study
that uses both Quantitative and Qualitative research methods. Sampling from 1,891 teams
consisting of 8,556 students with implications of forming this study based on formal and
informal groups with a global focus. Citing this reference from the source “Thus, we aim to
answer the question: Are charters really useful for team-based projects using student global
virtual teams (GVTs)?
Highlights of this research are describing the usefulness of creating a team charter,
explaining how the implementation of using a charter can even and create a work distribution.
While also bettering performance, says this journal, the journal also has sections that point out
the positive and negative charters in more detail. “The contractual obligation among team
members created by a rigid charter may reduce the degree of flexibility in team projects.”

This was a field study based on sampling students that were asked to participate in a
study. Using Quantitative methods to correlate the surveys done by the researches, this study
may qualify as a scholarly search. The journal was published on June 1, 2022, and with such a
large set of students I doubt the validity of such a study. I think the data may have been tabulated
in a correct matter if the answers are correct through testing the findings. I also did not see if any
of the samples lead to any cognitive bias because I believe the saturation would be a strong
correlation to a given fact or detriment.
I plan to corroborate with large corporations or small businesses. I feel also that the idea
of team charters have had a negative effect on many of my previous projects. Enough so that I
would avoid the experience if given the chance. I think that in many cases a group project may
not always get the job done but I will agree that it can be helpful for large contracts or jobs. At
this stage, it is for learning experiences and maybe that is why they tend to go so badly, with
selfish members the feeling can often seem as if I would have been better left alone. This study
will help in my dissertation by giving a study based on collaborations. Possibly leading to better
interactions.

An interesting article in an interesting field of study. Not a long article in comparison to
the twenty-plus pages that are usually prescribed for research. This article does not look like a
typical peer-reviewed article but more like a popular source. A popular source that I found using

I am finished with my Graduate degree now I am hoping to enter into Doctoral college this fall now after starting and restarting transferring then starting again, but now unsure of my funds.
