Creator Haters Battle Tycoon Is LIVE — Kewlbeer’d Makes Games Now

Big day. Kewlbeer’d makes games now. Creator Haters Battle Tycoon — our first ever original game — is live, and you can play it right here, right now, for free. No download, no install. It’s just… there, running in your browser.

🔞 18+: mature themes (adult-creator-economy satire) and cartoon violence — nothing explicit is shown. The game checks age on entry.

Why this is a big deal

Everything on Kewlbeer’d until today has been curated — films, podcasts, music, news, and games other people built that we brought in. Creator Haters Battle Tycoon is different: it’s ours. The first original title made for this network, from zero. Every enemy, every upgrade, every ban hammer — homegrown.

And it’s built to travel. The whole game is one self-contained file that runs in any browser, on any site — which is exactly how it’s wired here, embedded straight into this page and the Games page. Where Kewlbeer’d goes next, this game can go with it. You’ll be seeing that play out.

Genre-wise it smashes together two things that never share a screen: a creator-economy tycoon and a top-down wave shooter. You build the empire by day and defend it by night — and the thing you’re defending it from is the internet itself.

What it is

Creator Haters Battle Tycoon is part tycoon, part arcade shooter, and all satire. You play a creator building an empire from zero: publish content, price your VIP subscription, manage your energy, and grow your subscriber count — while the internet does what the internet does. The hate rolls in. Spam bots swarm. Content leakers circle. And every third wave, a Hater Lord shows up to end your run.

The game doesn’t take itself too seriously, and neither should you. It’s a cheeky spin on the creator economy: the grind for subs, the comment-section wars, and the eternal quest for the perfect subscription price.

Three ways to play

1. Run the studio (tycoon mode)

Pick your content and publish to the feed: a quick Spicy Photoshoot (15 energy, high conversion, steady subscriber drip), a 4K VOD feature (35 energy, premium earnings and XP), or an After Dark VIP stream (50 energy, massive tip potential). Watch the activity feed, manage fatigue, and decide when a Spa Day is worth more than another upload.

2. Fight The Comment Section (arena mode)

The dungeon is literally the comment section. WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to shoot. Enemies pour in from every edge — waves scale fast (9 enemies in wave one, then it climbs) — and every third wave spawns a Hater Lord boss with 160 HP.

Your skills, on a four-button bar:

  • Q — Ban Hammer
  • W — Privacy Firewall (a shield that eats incoming hate)
  • E — Spicy Wave
  • R — Hype Blast

3. VIP custom requests

High-paying requests from your top fans roll in — fulfill them for payouts. The VIP Appeal perk bumps request payouts by 20%.

The tycoon loop

  • Subscription pricing: a $5–$100/mo slider. The demand hint points at the sweet spot between conversion and retention — $15 is the balanced default, but push it if your hype can carry it.
  • Upgrades: camera upgrades aren’t just for content — they raise your arena damage (20 + 10 per camera level per shot).
  • Perks: the Moderation Bot auto-deploys a shield when your combat HP drops below 30%. It has saved more runs than we can count.
  • Recovery: the Spa & Relaxation Day (−40 fatigue, +50 stamina) is free. The Spicy Creator Crossover collab costs $200 and buys you subscribers and hype.

Tips for your first run

  1. Photoshoots early. Low cost, steady subs — build a base before splurging on streams.
  2. Don’t cheap out on camera. It’s your content and your gun in the arena.
  3. Save the firewall for wave three. The Hater Lord hits different.
  4. Publish before you rest. Advancing days compounds upkeep — bank the growth first.

One honest note: runs don’t save yet, so treat each session as a run. That’s on the roadmap along with more games.

The arcade is officially open

This is game one of a lineup we’re building. More originals are coming to the Games page — and this first one will be showing up beyond this site too, because that’s how it was built. Until then: the studio is yours, The Comment Section is waiting, and the Hater Lord doesn’t sleep.
